Zinc Plating Process Overview:

Surface Preparation: Cleaning removes dirt, grease, oil, and rust using abrasive blasting, acid cleaning, or ultrasonic cleaning. Pickling in a diluted acid bath eliminates oxide scale. Activation with an acid solution ensures optimal zinc adhesion.

Plating Bath Preparation: The bath contains zinc salts (such as zinc sulphate or zinc chloride) with added electrolyte. The workpiece acts as the cathode and zinc as the anode, connected to a DC power supply to drive zinc ion movement.
